The new Cometron series from Celestron - follow the comet of the century, even if you are a beginner!
Even beginners with no previous experience can successfully observe the comet of the century, and many other objects in the night sky, using Celestron's 114AZ Cometron telescope. This compact Newtonian reflecting telescope with 114mm of aperture and a 450mm focal length delivers a bright image with a wide field of view - ideal for observing extended objects such as comets. The red dot finder allows you to easily orientate yourself in the night sky, letting you quickly find the object you are looking for. The altazimuth mount is intuitive to use, and the telescope can be assembled in a couple of minutes without the need for any tools. The Cometron 114AZ is of course not only suitable for comets: The wide field of view can show you the Moon, star clusters in the Milky Way and the planets of our solar system. You also benefit from the fact that you can see part of the background sky. And distant objects such as the Orion Nebula are also well worth taking a look at.
