The Discovery Artisan 128 digital microscope has a built-in 3.5-inch LCD display, onto which the image is transferred from the objective. It can also be displayed on an external screen, not only on a PC but also on a TV. The microscope is compatible with Windows and Mac OS devices, and you can connect the microscope to them using a USB cable. To connect the device to a TV, the AV cable is used. The microscope also allows for photographing, video recording, and measurements (linear, angular, radii, diameters, etc.).
The Discovery Artisan 128 microscope’s digital 5-megapixel camera with interpolation up to 12 megapixels forms the image. The magnification range is from 20x to 500x, and the manual focus range is from 0 to 150mm. The microscope is great for working with metals, numismatics, restoration, jewelry, and repair work. It can be used to detect defects in manufactured products, digitize museum exhibits (leaves, minerals, etc.), solder, and work with drawings. This model is also suitable for a scientific hobby.
The stage is equipped with two clamps and measuring scales. The microscope features a built-in illumination. It includes 8 white led lights around the camera’s objective. Their brightness is adjustable. The illumination as well as the microscope is powered with the Li-ion battery or an AC power supply (AC adapter is included).
Note: A memory card is used to record photos and videos (not included). The recorded data can be transferred to a computer using a USB cable.
In order for the program to operate correctly, please launch the installed application only when your microscope is connected to a PC and ready for observations.
