The lenses on the ALPEN OPTICS Apex Steady 20x42 HD binoculars are made from outstanding high-definition glass, allowing you to view animals and landscapes in high resolution and fascinating detail. Coating
The Apex Steady binoculars also come with first-class coatings for an optimal viewing experience. The exclusive ALPEN OPTICS UBX multi-layer coating significantly increases the light transmission, while the premium PXA phase coating delivers outstanding contrasts and a crystal-clear image. Another highlight is the ALPEN OPTICS premium LPE (Lotus Pearl Effect) lens coating, which ensures that water droplets drip off the lenses and wash away dirt during rainy weather.
Sturdy, weatherproof and user-friendly
The Apex Steady binoculars have a sturdy design and are perfect for use on hunting trips and outdoor adventures. They feature a comfortable rubber armouring for optimal grip. The premium binoculars are also splashproof and therefore suitable for use in rainy weather or foggy conditions. In addition, the lenses are protected against fogging up from the inside during abrupt changes in temperature.

The Apex Steady 20x42 HD binoculars are also ideal for people who wear glasses. Simply twist down the twist-up eyecups to look through the binoculars with your glasses on. The LE eyepieces have a long eye relief so that you can comfortably see the entire field of view. And thanks to the dioptre compensation, you can quickly adjust for differences in vision between your eyes.
Crystal-clear images with premium quality optics
Unlike the standard BK-7, the optics are made from BaK-4 glass (barium crown glass) that produces even sharper and brighter images. The high-quality BaK-4 glass optics are used in all ALPEN Optics products sold in Europe.
Special coating for more clarity and contrast
Thanks to the first-class PXA phase coating, these binoculars allow you to take in every detail in crystal-clear, high-contrast images.
